suggest change 
dynamic foo = 123;
Console.WriteLine(foo + 234);
// 357    Console.WriteLine(foo.ToUpper())
// RuntimeBinderException, since int doesn't have a ToUpper method

foo = "123";
Console.WriteLine(foo + 234);
// 123234
Console.WriteLine(foo.ToUpper()):
// NOW A STRING
